The Museum of Bad Art

"Art Too Bad to be Ignored"
Tucked away in the basement of an old-fashioned movie theater in Dedham, MA, The Museum of Bad Art is well worth a special trip, and admission is totally free! Soak in the ambiance, imbibe the mysterious odor (it's located next to the men's room) and focus your attention on the hilarious descriptions, which were obviously written by a true art historian.

Here are some of my favorites:

The Waterfall
Snow-capped peaks tower over this summer meadow featuring evergreens, wildflowers, and a waterfall of mysterious origin.

Six identical tress glide silently across the icy terrain to surround the woodmill. The brook stops suddenly below the footbridge, holding its breath. What will happen next in this dramatic conflict between man and nature?

Apres-Museum
If you're hungry after the museum, try Bubbling Brook in Westwood, a cute diner/restaurant/ice cream stand, rated one of New England's top 10 ice cream stands.

It's about a 10 minute drive from MOBA. I recommend the pepper burger.
